Girls Week

Hunting season has arrived, in Mississippi that is. Micah, Mark and Seth left for Tara on Wednesday morning and will not be back until Saturday evening. They are gone on a bow hunt. Mark goes there every year but this is Micah and Seth's first year to go. Micah said they have seen several deer but haven't had one in bow range. Truth be told I don't really know why they pay to go. Mark is lucky enough he will probably kill a deer but Micah never gets lucky. Out of all the hunts he has taken I believe he has only killed one deer. Seth will probably see the biggest deer of all but he will miss it. (I aggravate him all of the time that I am a better shot than he is) I am sure they will have a great time, shooting the bull, and killing time. That's fine by me because for the next few days the middle of the bed is mine. ( I am there as I type).
Yesterday Emma Kathryn and I went to Tuscaloosa. She had to go back to the doc to get her flu booster so we just made a day of it. We left early and went shopping. I found her some cute brown shoes and a toboggan for this winter. Then we went to the Rad Clinic to visit the people I worked with. They haven't seen Emma Kathryn in many months. They were surprised to see how much she had grown. I enjoyed getting to visit with everyone.
Then it was off to the doctor office. She did well with her shot. She only cried for a few minutes. On top of the shot she also has a runny nose. This is a first for us. I feel so sorry for her. She has had a hard time sleeping with her snotty nose. She usually sleeps on her stomach but this is difficult because she cant breathe as easily. Last night I put her on her side against the bumper in the crib and put a pillow in front of her so that she couldn't roll over. She slept much better but I was a nervous wreak. I was so worried she would get the pillow in her face. She didn't though so she is that way again tonight. Thinking about it is making me worry again so farewell to you all so I can go and check on her again.
