Our Family

Micah and I were married on March 22,2008. I can't believe it has already been 4 months. Our wedding was a perfect success (of course I am a little bias). We had so much fun with our family and friends. Micah was convinced it would be a complete disaster because we had so many children. Now he knows it would have been boring without them.

We went to the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon after a two night stay at Ross Bridge in Birmingham. Micah though it would be a grand idea for me to pack his clothes for him and of course I did. He didn't think it was such a grand idea when we got to Ross Bridge and I forgot to pack some very important items (his underwear). I thought he would kill me on our wedding night. Now we enjoy laughing about it, and needless to say he packs his own bags. The Dominican Republic was beautiful. We had a great time. It was so nice to lay on the beach and enjoy the ocean breeze. Unfortunately all good things have to come to an end and we came home.

We live in Berry surrounded with family and friends. Even though I work in Tuscaloosa and Micah in Cordova we wouldn't live anywhere else. As a child we always say "I will leave this town the first chance I get" but now it is easier to understand why our parents stayed.

Last Christmas Micah brought home our first child. He bought me a Great Dane that we named Zeke. He is a joy, that is a "big" joy. It is so fun watching him. He loves to play in our pond. Every time we go to feed the fish he goes with us and is immediately in the mud. You would be surprised how quickly a shinny black dog can transform to a dingy brown dog. Not only does he like to play in the mud but when he is finished he thinks we should be muddy too. Unfortunately because of his large size Micah's nieces and nephews are afraid of him, with the exception of Abby, Dana's youngest child. She lives to see Micah and Zeke. Considering she is the smallest of the clan you would think she would be terrified but it is always Abby that wants to get Zeke out of the kennel.

This is my first time blogging so I am a bit slow getting my page set up. Maybe I can get our honeymoon pics loaded soon.

God bless you and your families!
